Our drivers are known for being in the right place at the right time, but in 1990, Mr. Art Crisp went beyond the call of duty in helping to apprehend a kidnapper, a man later implicated in two homicides, at considerable risk to his safety.

Sheriff W. Otis Higgs, Jr., of Shelby County, Tennessee, presented to Mr. Crisp a letter of thanks and a Sheriff's Proclamation for his actions of that July 16, declaring the following August 15 a day or recognition.

Though he has since left Mid-West Traffic Inc., Mr. Crisp's actions exemplify the responsible nature we look for in our drivers.
